ATCHISON, Kan. - Finishing off a brief two-game road trip at No. 6 ranked Benedictine College, the Clarke University women's lacrosse team fell by a final score of 29-1 on Saturday afternoon to the Ravens.
The Pride's lone goal came in the third period off the stick of Emily Moran as she notched her team-leading 16th goal of the season but it was already a 24-0 advantage for BC to that point late in the third. Goalkeeper Mars Beimert had a busy day and was still able to make 16 saves on the 45 shots faced, including nine saves in the first quarter.
Benedictine's Natalie Wechter led the game in goals with eight while adding two assists as Aidan McEnerney led the Ravens in scoring with a 15-point performance of seven goals and eight assists.
Up next for Clarke women's lacrosse will be back-to-back home games starting on Friday, Apr. 1 when they host Saint Mary at Burrows Field for a 4:00 p.m. CT start.
