Louis Deeny was hired as the women's lacrosse head coach prior to the start of the 2021-22 school year at Clarke University.

Deeny returns to CU after playing on the Pride's inaugural men's lacrosse team in 2016 where he eventually graduated from Clarke in 2019 with a degree in Elementary Eduacation with a Special Education Endorsement. 

For two years after graduating from Clarke, Deeny taught eighth grade special education while also founding, serving as head coach and general manager of the Iowa Dogfish Senior A Lacrosse team that played out of the Interstate Box Lacrosse Association. His lacross coaching experience has also expanded to coaching youth and national team players during an outreach trip to Uganda.
