Full NAIA Women’s Basketball Tournament Field Announced, Clarke to Host Freed-Hardeman, Northwestern, and IU-Northwest as part of Duer Quadrant
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship Tournament slated to begin next Tuesday and Wednesday Mar. 7-8, four teams were selected to play their first and second round games at Clarke University's host site as part of the announcement of the entire tournament field on Thursday evening.
Pride women's basketball was selected as a No. 2 seed within the Duer Quadrant as the top seed at the Dubuque Site as they will begin their NAIA tournament against No. 15 seed Indiana University Northwest as Tuesday's first game at 5:30 p.m. CT in the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center.
The second game hosted in the Kehl Center will take place between No. 7 Freed-Hardeman University and No. 10 Northwestern College at 7:30 p.m. CT or approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game on Tuesday night.
The winner of both games on Tuesday will then face off for a chance to head to Sioux City, Iowa's final site and the NAIA Round of 16 on Wednesday evening with the second round game scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. CT tip.
Tickets to Tuesday's first round will be sold as a full session so one ticket will get fans entry into both games on Tuesday as a separate ticket will need to be purchased for Wednesday's second round game.
Tickets are currently available at https://clarkepride.com/Tickets/Home as online purchase does come with a service fee from Hometown Ticketing's online system as tickets can also be purchased on site the day of the games via cash or card as prices will be $8 for general attendance and $5 for students.
All three games will be broadcasted on the Clarke Pride Sports Network at https://team1sports.com/clarke/ as Doug Wagen and Jim Blaine will provide the play by play and color commentary for the first and second round games in the Kehl Center. Each game will be a pay-per-view model of $7.50 plus an $.50 service fee from Clarke's streaming provider Hudl for an $8.00 charge per game.
