Lewandowski caps Clarke career with All-Heart Honorable Mention selection

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - With the 2024 regular season in the rear view, Clarke University men's volleyball fifth-year senior Stephen Lewandowski was the Pride's representative on the Heart of America Athletic Conference All Conference teams as Heart officials announced the All Conference lists on Friday afternoon.

Lewandowski, a middle blocker/hitter from Rockford, Ill., finished the season far and away the CU leader in total blocks with 109 as he led the Heart in blocks per set at 1.27 while finishing just four blocks shy of the most total blocks in the Heart as his 91 block assists and 18 solo blocks both also rank second in the conference.

Finishing with 383 total blocks in his career, Lewandowski will finish his Clarke career with the fourth most total blocks in his career, finishing his last three season with over 100 blocks in each season as his 296 career block assists and 87 solo blocks place him in fourth all time at CU in those categories as well.

Lewandowski was one of five members of the Pride to finish with over 100 kills as he finished with 105 in 86 sets played while hitting for a .197 percentage as he also produced the fifth-most aces on the team this season with 10 to finish his season with the third-most points scored for Clarke at 178.5.

CU men's volleyball finished the 2024 season with a 6-22 record while going 3-15 in Heart play to finish in eighth place in the conference regular season standings.
