2022 (Senior): Jake played in four games.
2021 (Junior): Jake played and started in 14 games...ended the 2021 season with 1 goal, 2 assist and a total of 24 shots, making his shooting percentage a 45.8%.
2020 (Sophomore): Played and started in13 games...scored a total of 8 goals with a shooting percentage 51.9%.
Prior to Clarke: For two years, Jake had attended the University of Dubuque and was also apart of the Spartans' men soccer team.
High School: Jake graduated in the year of 2018 from St. Charles North High School and was apart of the North Stars’ soccer program. This is where earned three varsity letters and became the Kane County Player of the Year. Jake also earned an all-conference, all-sectional and the Chicagoland Soccer All-State titles.
Personal File: Jake was born on March 6, 2000 in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is the son of Todd and Michelle Persenico, of South Elgin, Illinois. He has one brother who plays with him on the team (Luke Persenico) and two sisters. Some of his hobbies besides soccer are art, basketball, Frisbee golf and designing clothes. Jake is also majoring in digital art/graphic design.
