Five Pride men's lacrosse student-athletes earn KCAC Scholar-Athlete honors
WICHITA, Kan. - Following the completion of the 2022 regular season, five Clarke University men's lacrosse student-athletes received Scholar-Athlete status in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, the KCAC announced on Wednesday.
The five members of the Pride include Tucker Aeschliman, Conner Cole, Anthony Gonzalez, Tucker La Belle, and Connor Watson as they were five of the total of 35 student-athletes on the men's lacrosse side of the KACA able to fit the criteria of a Scholar-Athlete.
That criteria is that All-KCAC Scholar-Athlete Academic Award recognizes excellence in the classroom by KCAC member student-athletes who:
- are sophomores or above in academic standing at the beginning of the semester in which they compete.
- carry a minimum 3.250 cumulative GPA at the beginning of the semester in which they compete.
- student-athletes must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at the KCAC institution to be eligible.
Clarke men's lacrosse finished their 2022 season with a 3-7 record and will head into the 2022-23 season looking to build off of their finish of winning two of their final four games.
