Pride's busy September comes to a close with the NAIA Midwest Invitational
SILVIS, Ill. – The Clarke University men's golf team wrapped up the NAIA Midwest Invitational on Tuesday evening led by a fourth-place finish from Jacob Luett who shot a 72-72=144.
Luett's 144 was two strokes off second place and 11 behind the top finisher, Thomas Peluchon, representing Roosevelt University.
Finishing in 62nd and 65th out of 78 golfers, respectively, Logan Winn finished the tournament shooting 82-82=164 and Alijah Dopson one stroke back after a solid 79-86=165.
The rest of Clarke's top group saw Jesse Frye shoot an 85-83=168, earning himself 69th place and Jared Martinson completed his invitational with scores of 90-89=179.
Pride men's golf will prepare for the Heart of America Fall Preview next month in Moravia, Iowa, beginning Monday, Oct. 23rd.
