Bio

Mary Dynda joined the Clarke University Athletics administrative staff in late April 2026 as the Assistant to the Athletic Director, serving as a primary assistant for various athletic office and gameday operations tasks.

She began her tenure at Clarke as part of the women's soccer coaching staff in 2025, joining as lead assistant on the staff during the 2025 season through spring 2026 while also assisting gameday operations for basketball and lacrosse home events before transitioning to her role in administration.

Dynda came to Dubuque after serving various roles at William Woods University from Januarty 2020 until this past season of 2024-25, primarily serving as an assistant on the Owls women's soccer coaching staff and working as an admissions office coordinator at WWU while also performing game day staff tasks for sports outside of soccer.

While working with the William Woods women's soccer team, Dynda assisted in team training, boosting skills and performance, and assisted in the planning, organizing, and leading group sessions during practice to enhance player strategies. Behind the scenes, Dynda also developed scouting reports to enable informed game strategies that maximized player strengths and minimized weaknesses. Beyond practice and game responsibilities, Dynda would mentor and evaluate players, assist in recruiting efforts, and even helped create and manage team social media accounts.

Originally hailing from La Palma, Calif., Dynda had a five-year collegiate playing career that spanned three schools, starting first at Concordia University-Portland before spending a season at Cypress College then closing out her career at Central Methodist University for the 2018 and 2019 seasons, playing a vital role to the 2019 Eagles team that went undefeated through the regular season and won both the Heart regular season and tournament championships. 

Dynda graduated from CMU with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and would get her Master's from William Woods in Athletic Administration.
